The 28th China Yiwu International Commodities (Standards) Fair: To Make Safety Standardized!

From November 24th to 27th, 2022, the 28th China Yiwu International Commodities (Standards) Fair was held at Yiwu International Expo Center. As the most influential & effective fair for daily consumer goods in China, China Yiwu International Commodities Fair (Yiwu Fair) has been held since 1995. The event is approved by the State Council, and jointly hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province，Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China, and other relevant authorities. Yiwu Fair is one of the largest, most influential, and most productive commodities fairs in China. It has been honored as one of the “Best Management Fairs in China”, “Best Outcome Exhibition”, “Top Ten Exhibitions in China”, “Best Fair sponsored by the Government” and one of the “Most Influential Brand Fairs”.

As a member of the Safety of Machinery and China Machinery Industry Safety And Health Association (CMISHA), Vichnet showed up on the themed standardization exhibition areas set by those two authorities.

The safety standardization exhibition covers 276㎡areas, and the whole place includes safety standard explanation area, solution display area, and safety product display area. By combining those three areas together, national policies can be thoroughly implemented, and some new ways for applying safety standards could also be further explored.

As for the safety standardization exhibition, it not only emphasizes the importance of safety standards but also contributes a lot to promoting safety technologies development and the concept of "great safety" that is applied in industries. Machinery safety standard is the most authoritative reference for factories to reduce safety maintenance costs and ensure users’ safety. In the carrying process, high-quality development of the equipment manufacturing industry could be guaranteed.

The safety standard explanation generally shows the basic standards in the field of machinery safety in China. By combining safety standards, safety technology, and safety devices together, abstract mechanical safety standard comes more specific, and the method that how could we use the safety standard to protect the mechanical equipment becomes clearer. By doing these, we can better understand safety standards and apply more of them to speed up the machinery safety standards implementation process.

The safety solution exhibition displays the safety devices and safety technologies that are commonly required in applying safety standards, such as emergency stop devices, protective devices, safety light curtains, interlocking devices, safety control technology, and safety interlocking technology. Through practical use, we can intuitively notice the response of safety fences for some dangerous actions to understand the differences between different devices and the practical application effects of various safety technologies, it helps relevant personnel to get a deeper understanding of machinery safety standards and safety technologies, laying a solid foundation to promote safety concepts.

The safety product exhibition was jointly planned by the Safety Protection Equipment and the Ascend Safety Equipment of CMISHA. 10 professionals that engaged in safety product research & development, safety risk assessment, and national machinery safety standards promotion for many years were invited. Several key enterprises participated in the exhibition, among them also includes Vinchet.

The main products displayed in that safety product area are safety fences, safety light curtains, safety relays, and safety climbing ladders. In the product area, Vichnet displayed the smart safety protection fence system that is widely used in the field of smart manufacturing. On the simple basis of physical positioning function, intelligent safety control devices are also equipped for achieving human-machine safety and provide high-quality development for various industries such as industrial human-robots cooperation, intelligent warehousing, machinery equipment manufacturing, and so on. Besides, the safety fence can also be equipped with our cable tray to ensure the safety of cables and realize the safe wire routing for components such as safety switches, light curtains, and alarm lights. And on-site, Vichnet also brought the new product Vichbox to the fair. Vichbox is a pre-programmed safety interlock system developed by Vichnet, which can realize interlock control of safety door accessories such as locks, alarm lights, etc., and it also can interact with different equipment to receive warning signals and make quick actions. It’s safe, stable, adjustable, and even cost-effective.

Vichnet is going to explore more technologies and applications such as artificial intelligence, neural networks, visual recognition, digital twins, and industrial Internet for Vichnet products.
